Grandparents Day

On Friday February 1st, as part of Catholic School’s Week we celebrated Grandparents’ Day in our school. On that day we had circa 130 visitors – most of whom were grannies and grandads of our pupils. Our guests arrived at 11am on a beautiful spring morning and enjoyed the cup of tea which our team of helpers had ready. By the time the first group of children from Ms. Lyons’ and Ms. Mc Namara’s classes arrived in the halla we had a full house. To start things off, our senior pupils conducted a really lovely short prayer service and they then entertained us with some lively singing. Next up were Mrs. Noonan’s and Ms. Rocca’s classes who ensured that all present sat up and paid full attention
