School Sports Day

The GAA field was our classroom for the day on Thursday. Luckily, the rain decided to stay in the sky and we had a fantastic time in the sun with all our friends. We ran races, played parachute games, bounced on the bouncy castles, played soccer, partook in crossbar challenges and penalty shootouts and battled through an obstacle course. We were all tired but happy going home!

Sixth Class Graduation

Our nineteen 6th Class pupils had their Graduation ceremony on 18th June in the school. It was a memorable occasion. Fr Boyce celebrated mass. The children sang and read confidently, with each child having a role to play in the ceremony. The teachers were very proud of their efforts. Many people commented on the various art displays which the class had prepared. Each child was presented with a certificate to mark the occasion. While it was an emotional day for the pupils and their families, everyone agreed that they had a most enjoyable day. We wish them all the best in secondary school.

Well done to our hurlers who played some great competitive games this year.
