Isla's Bug Hotel

Isla hung her bug hotel on a tree in her garden. She noticed some of the holes are covered with what looks like mud. She did some research and it looks like there may be bees nesting! The mommy bee has left some nectar inside with her egg and covered it up to keep it safe. We must wait and see what happens next!

Fairy Garden

Well done to the children from our school who, with the help of their parents, gave the little garden beside Cappagh Community Hall a makeover and created a fantastic Fairy Garden.

Green Flag success!!!

Today, we got an email from An Taisce to inform us that our application for our second Green Flag (energy) has been successful. We are delighted! Thank you to all the students and teachers for their great efforts in saving energy in the school. Thanks especially to Ms Sheehan and her 'Green Committee' who really worked hard in achieving our energy flag.

Well done to all the boys and girls who engaged so well with Active Home Week. Lots of you had great fun! Thank you for sending back your Active Home Week charts - it was lovely to see what you got up to!
